Easy. The idea of CSR is that companies must address the concerns of those affected and behave in a "socially responsible". First, what is "socially responsible"? When can you say you've done enough already? Who is the societal interest in a more entrepreneurial? (there are infinitely many things require the attention of executives). The problem with CSR is that the assumption is that the other actors in the company of interest. That is stupidity. Customers, employees, authorities and suppliers are all very interested in maximizing their earnings (ie, greedy) at the expense of the owner of a company. CSR almost always includes the ownership of the company.
Milton Friedman is your best source of arguments. His point is that the primary responsibility of business is to increase assets of the shareholders. His view is similar to seeing someone in her house rent during the holiday. How to enjoy The House Sitter invitation to the homeless to spend the weekend at home and churnStuff? You can say it is a waste in an empty house to leave, while others no place to live and to do what is socially responsible, leave these poor souls who have to use this resource (which is yours). Even if people do not negotiate their temporary home, is responsible for house-sitter is not homeless. Friedman said that if he wanted to help homeless people should do it yourself, you do not need that someone of its assets to us voluntarily. In addition, the house sitter all the glory for the support of the homeless will receive, taking all risks. That's the problem with CSR.
Pollution is another problem. If the community is not with the degree of pollution in their environment, satisfy an undertaking, an undertaking that reduce the competitors at a disadvantage to. Also receive a reduction in shareholder value. Complains of May, that the shareholders are greedy and too much money, in this case, you may recall that when the stockholders get richer, they could buy shares of the company and rich even. You can even buy shares of the evil Wal-Mart and Exxon / Mobil and "rich" too. You will notice that it is not so great.

Good luck with that. Some thoughts on the value of CSR. Unfortunately, their weaknesses are not taught to speak a lot more fun to "very nice to everybody."
